The proposal:
On February 13th, 2006 Dan Martin proposed to Catherine Lomax. Surprisingly,
she said yes.
The proposal took place at the Teicher Theater, or former Madstone in Ann Arbor's Briarwood Mall.
Dan had worked at Madstone, then The Village Theatre, and still knows people there. (Dan again works at the Briarwood
theaters.) He told Cathy that he had to introduce the movie. Halfway through his stand-up, he turned the tables
and asked Cathy if she'd be his bride. The audience applauded when she said yes.
